Who owns my videos, and can I use them commercially?

Short answer
The videos you make with StoryShort belong to you, as our Terms of Service say. You can post them on monetized channels and use them for your business. You are responsible for what you put in them, and you must follow the rules of each platform.
Your videos are yours
Our Terms of Service say that the content you create with StoryShort belongs to you. You also give StoryShort a non-exclusive license to use your content, only to run and improve the service.
Because the videos are yours, you can:
- Post them on monetized YouTube, TikTok and Instagram accounts.
- Use them in ads and on your website.
- Make videos for clients.
What you are responsible for
- What you upload: images, videos, audio and scripts.
- Prompts that copy other people's work, brands or characters.
- Real people: do not use someone's face or voice without their clear consent.
- The rules of each platform, like YouTube's rules on AI content and AI labels. See Can I monetize StoryShort videos on YouTube?
Content that is not allowed
Some content cannot be made with StoryShort at all. See What content is not allowed?
