How does auto-posting to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram work?

Updated

Short answer

StoryShort can post your videos to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram Reels, now or at a set time. A series goes further. It makes a new video and posts it on your schedule, up to 4 times a day. Auto-posting needs a paid plan.

Connect your accounts

Open the Accounts page and connect:

  • TikTok
  • YouTube
  • Instagram: you need a Professional account (Business or Creator).
  • Zapier, to send videos to other apps.

Post one video

From the video page, post now or choose a date and time.

Run a series

A series makes and posts videos for you:

  1. Choose the type of video, the topic, the voice and the style.
  2. Choose up to 4 posting times per day, and your time zone.
  3. Choose the accounts to post to.

StoryShort then writes a new script for each video, makes it and posts it. Each video uses credits, so keep enough credits for your schedule. Each plan includes a number of series: 1 on Starter, 2 on Growth, 3 on Influencer and 4 on Ultra.

AI labels

YouTube and TikTok ask you to label AI content that looks real. StoryShort does not add these labels for you yet. Add them in YouTube Studio or in the TikTok app when a video shows realistic people or scenes. Our guide explains the YouTube rules for AI videos.
