Short answer
Many platforms give you Veo, Kling, Seedance, Wan and MiniMax with one account, including StoryShort, Magnific (formerly Freepik), Krea, Higgsfield, Runway, Leonardo, Pollo AI, OpenArt and Artlist. Developers can pay per second with fal.ai, Replicate or kie.ai. Sora is no longer available, because OpenAI shut it down in 2026.
Each AI video model has its own website, its own plan and its own credits. Paying for all of them adds up fast. Many platforms now put the main models behind one account. This page compares where you can use them, what they cost, and how the models rank. We checked every price on the official pages on October 6, 2026. Some prices were shown in euros.

Good to know:
Freepik is now Magnific

Sora is gone
Some pages still list Sora 2. Those lists are out of date.
Most apps do more than clips
Krea, Higgsfield, Runway, OpenArt, Pollo AI and Artlist add agents, editors or story tools. StoryShort is the only one here that we saw posting videos to TikTok, YouTube and Instagram for you. It also writes the script and adds the voice and captions.
One prompt on six models
We gave the same prompt to six models in StoryShort. Click a clip to play it with sound.
One prompt, six models
Prompt: "A red fox walks through fresh snow in a quiet pine forest at sunrise. Warm low sunlight, its breath is visible in the cold air, snow falls from a branch behind it. The camera follows at ground level." Made with StoryShort on October 6, 2026.
What we noticed:
Sound
Wan 3.0 Prime, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1 Fast had clear sound. Kling v3 was quiet. The two MiniMax clips had almost no sound in StoryShort, even though MiniMax says H3 makes native stereo audio.
Length
Veo 3.1 Fast always made an 8-second clip, even when we asked for 6.
Price
For 5 seconds at 720p, Wan 3.0 Prime cost 25 credits and Seedance 2.5 cost 40.
Which model is the best? What the leaderboards say
Public leaderboards rank models from blind votes. People compare two videos and pick the better one. These are the positions in September 2026:
| Model | Artificial Analysis, text to video | Artificial Analysis, image to video | Arena, text to video | Arena, image to video |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wan 3.0 | 1st | 6th | 6th | 3rd |
| Seedance 2.5 | 3rd | not listed | 7th | 4th |
| Seedance 2.0 | 7th | 4th | 5th | 5th |
| MiniMax H3 | 4th | 2nd | 8th | 1st |
| MiniMax H3 Max | 5th | 1st | not in the top 8 | not in the top 8 |
| Gemini Omni Flash (Google) | 8th | 3rd | 1st | 2nd |
| Veo 3.1 | 18th | 11th | 12th | about 13th |
| Kling 3.0 Pro | 16th | 19th | not listed | about 19th |
| Sora 2 | not listed | not listed | about 17th | not listed |
What this means:
- In September 2026, Wan 3.0, Seedance, MiniMax H3 and Google's new Gemini Omni Flash got the most votes.
- Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 ranked lower. Kling 4.0 is expected in October 2026.
- Google's own docs now suggest Gemini Omni Flash as the default video model instead of Veo 3.1. StoryShort does not offer Gemini Omni Flash yet.
- A leaderboard is an average. For your own style, try the same prompt on two or three models.

How to choose
You only need clips and you can write code
Use an API. It is the cheapest per clip. Official examples: Veo 3.1 Fast with audio costs $0.15 per second on fal.ai and Replicate. Wan 3.0 at 720p costs $0.05 per second on Replicate and $0.10 on fal.ai.
You want to try many models in an app
Krea, Higgsfield, Magnific, Runway and Leonardo have the widest lists. Check which versions each plan includes, because some models need a higher plan.
You want finished videos, not clips
StoryShort uses these models inside full videos. It writes the script, makes the scenes, adds voice and captions, and can post every day. Per clip, it costs more than an API, because each video includes all of that work.
StoryShort's price for each model is in Which AI video models can I use, and what do they cost?
Try the models with one StoryShort plan
Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax and Veo in one prompt box, or inside full videos with script, voice and captions.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I use Veo, Kling and Seedance with one subscription?
StoryShort, Magnific (formerly Freepik), Krea, Higgsfield, Runway, Leonardo, Pollo AI, OpenArt and Artlist all offer several of these models in one plan. The exact versions differ, so check the table on this page. Developers can also pay per second with fal.ai, Replicate or kie.ai.
Is Sora still available?
No. OpenAI closed the Sora app on April 26, 2026 and removed Sora 2 from its API on September 24, 2026. Pages that still list Sora are out of date.
Which AI video model is the best in 2026?
It depends on the test. In September 2026, Wan 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, MiniMax H3 and Google's Gemini Omni Flash led the public leaderboards. Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 ranked lower. Try the same prompt on two or three models before you choose.
What is the cheapest way to use Veo 3.1?
Pay-per-use APIs. On fal.ai and Replicate, Veo 3.1 Fast costs $0.15 per second with audio, so $1.20 for an 8-second clip. Apps with monthly plans cost more per clip, but you do not need to write code.

Freepik is now called Magnific. freepik.com/pricing redirects to magnific.com/pricing, and the AI video generator is still there with Veo, Kling, Seedance, Wan and MiniMax models.
Is Kling 4.0 available?
Not fully yet. Kling's blog says Kling 4.0 will launch in October 2026, and Kling 4.0 Flash opened in early access on September 28, 2026.
