1. Acceptation des conditions

By accessing or using StoryShort.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description du service

StoryShort.ai is a tool that uses AI to help generate and publish short-form videos for TikTok and YouTube. Our service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

3. Comptes utilisateurs

To use StoryShort.ai, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree not to use StoryShort.ai for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. You are solely responsible for the content you generate using our tool.

5. Contenus interdits

You may not use StoryShort.ai to generate, upload or publish any of the following content:

• Sexual, pornographic, sexually explicit or suggestive content, nudity, or any other adult (NSFW) content
• Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor
• Deepfakes, face swaps, or content that uses a real person's likeness or voice without their explicit consent
• Violent, gory, hateful, harassing or extremist content
• Content that promotes self-harm, illegal activities, drugs or weapons
• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other third-party rights

We screen prompts and images for prohibited content, using automated tools and the safety filters of our AI providers. We may block a request, remove content, limit how much you can generate, or suspend or close your account. Serious violations, such as anything involving minors, lead to immediate termination of your account, without refund, and may be reported to the authorities.

5a. Vos contenus, le consentement et vos droits

You are responsible for everything you upload or use on StoryShort.ai: images, videos, audio, voice samples, scripts and prompts. When you upload or use content, you confirm that:

• You own it, or you have all the rights and permissions needed to use it on StoryShort.ai.
• Every person who can be recognized in it, by their face, body or voice, gave you their explicit consent to use it this way. For a person under 18, their parent or legal guardian gave this consent.
• You will not use anyone's face, likeness or voice without their explicit consent. This includes AI avatars, voice clones, face swaps and talking photos.
• You will not pretend to be another person or organization, and you will not make content that makes people believe a real person said or did something they did not.

We may ask you to prove that you have these rights or this consent. If you cannot, we may remove the content.

5b. Contenus générés par l'IA

StoryShort.ai makes content with artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes. It can also make people, voices and events that look real but are not.

• You are responsible for how you use and publish the content you make. Check it before you publish it.
• Follow the rules of each platform about labeling AI content. When you publish to TikTok or YouTube from StoryShort.ai, we turn on the platform's AI label for realistic AI content by default. You can change this before you publish, and the final choice is yours.
• When you download content and post it yourself, you must add the AI label where the platform asks for it.
• Do not present AI-generated content about real people or real events as if it were real.

5c. Signalement et retrait

Anyone can report content on StoryShort.ai, with or without an account. Use the form at storyshort.ai/report, or write to [email protected]. Every public page that shows videos or images also has a Report link. You can report content that is sexual, involves a minor, uses a person's face or voice without consent, infringes a copyright or trademark, or is violent, hateful or illegal.

We review reports and remove content that breaks these Terms, usually within 48 hours. Reports about minors are handled first.

Copyright and trademark notices

If you believe content on StoryShort.ai infringes your copyright or trademark, send us a notice. Use the report form and choose "Copyright or trademark", or write to [email protected] with the subject "Copyright notice". Your notice must include:

• your name and contact details, including an email address;
• a description of the work or trademark you say is infringed;
• the link to the content on StoryShort.ai;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the owner or are allowed to act for the owner;
• your physical or electronic signature (your typed full name is enough).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed after a copyright or trademark notice and you think this is a mistake, or you have the rights to use it, write to [email protected]. Include the link to the content, why you think it was removed by mistake, your name and contact details, a statement that the information is accurate, and your signature. We may send your counter-notice to the person who sent the notice. If they do not tell us within 10 working days that they have started legal action, we may put the content back.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who receive repeated valid complaints about copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights.

Do not send reports that you know are false. Abuse of the report process can lead to the suspension of your account.

6. Services API YouTube

StoryShort.ai uses YouTube API Services to enhance your video creation and publishing experience. By using our service, you expressly agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms).

Our usage of YouTube API Services includes:

• Integration with YouTube for video uploads and management
• Access to your YouTube account data with your permission
• Temporary storage of YouTube-related data

• How we collect and use YouTube data
• Your right to revoke StoryShort.ai's access to your YouTube data
• The process for deleting your stored YouTube data
• Data retention and privacy practices

7. Stockage et conservation des données

For YouTube-related data:

• We temporarily store YouTube data for a maximum period of 30 days
• After 30 days, data is either refreshed or deleted in accordance with YouTube API Services policies
• You can request deletion of your stored data at any time through your account settings

8. Propriété intellectuelle

The content you create using StoryShort.ai belongs to you. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and improving our service.

This includes showing finished videos on public pages of StoryShort.ai, without your name or photo. You can turn this off in Settings (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for making sure your content does not infringe the rights of others (see section 5a).

9. Limitation de responsabilité

StoryShort.ai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our service.

10. Résiliation

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

10a. Suspension et recours

We may suspend or close your account, or remove your content, when we believe it breaks these Terms. While your account is suspended, you may not be able to use some or all of the service.

If you think we made a mistake, you can appeal. Write to [email protected] from the email address of your account. Tell us which account, video or decision it is about, and why you think it is wrong. We review every appeal and answer you by email. The decision stays in place while we review it.

11. Modifications des conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or through our website.

12. Droit applicable

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
