2. YouTube API Services

StoryShort.ai uses YouTube API Services to enable video uploading and management features. By using our service, you acknowledge that:

• You can revoke StoryShort.ai's access to your YouTube data at any time through your Google security settings page

3. Data Collection and Usage

We collect and process the following data through YouTube API Services:

• YouTube account access tokens (for authentication)
• Video upload capabilities and settings
• Basic channel information required for video management

4. Data Storage and Retention

For YouTube API Services data:

• We temporarily store YouTube data for a maximum of 30 days
• After 30 days, data is either refreshed or deleted
• You can request immediate deletion of your stored YouTube data through your account settings

5. Device Data Collection

We collect the following data from your device to enable our services:

• Browser type and version
• Operating system information
• Screen resolution and device type (for optimal video rendering)
• Connection information required for video uploads

8a. API and AI Agent Connections (MCP)

StoryShort offers an API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that let you connect third-party AI assistants (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor) to your account. When you authorize such a connection:

• The connected application acts on your account with your permission only, granted through an OAuth consent screen or an API key you generate.
• It can access only the data needed for its stated function: your videos, generation options (voices, styles, themes), credit balance, and connected social accounts, and can create, render and publish videos on your behalf.
• We store OAuth tokens hashed and never share your StoryShort password with connected applications.
• You can revoke any connected application at any time from Settings → API; revocation takes effect immediately.
• We log tool usage (which tool was called, by which connected client) to operate and improve the service.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your YouTube data stored by StoryShort.ai
• Request deletion of your stored YouTube data
• Revoke StoryShort.ai's access to your YouTube account
• Receive a copy of your stored data

9a. Löschung des Kontos

Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit in den Einstellungen löschen. Dann gilt:

• Wir löschen deine Videos, Serien, Charaktere, hochgeladenen Dateien und verbundenen Social-Media-Konten.
• Ein aktives Abonnement endet sofort. Bereits geleistete Zahlungen werden nicht erstattet.
• Rechnungen und Zahlungsdaten bewahren wir auf, weil das Gesetz es verlangt.
• Wir bewahren einen Einweg-Hash deiner E-Mail-Adresse auf. Daraus lässt sich deine E-Mail nicht lesen. Wir nutzen ihn nur, damit dieselbe Person die kostenlosen Startguthaben nicht zweimal erhält.

9b. Deine Videos auf öffentlichen Seiten

Fertige Videos, die du mit StoryShort.ai erstellst, können auf öffentlichen Seiten unserer Website erscheinen, zum Beispiel auf Themenseiten (storyshort.ai/category/...). Unser Team kann auch einige KI-Bilder und KI-Videos, die mit unseren Tools erstellt wurden, für die Community-Galerie und unsere Tool-Seiten auswählen.

• Diese Seiten zeigen das Video oder Bild, seinen Titel und sein Skript oder seinen Prompt.
• Sie zeigen nie deinen Namen oder dein Profilfoto.
• Du kannst alle deine Videos und Bilder jederzeit von öffentlichen Seiten entfernen. Schalte dazu in den Einstellungen „Show my videos on public pages“ (meine Videos auf öffentlichen Seiten zeigen) aus.
• Danach zeigen unsere Seiten deine Inhalte innerhalb weniger Minuten nicht mehr. Manche Seiten können eine gespeicherte Kopie bis zu 24 Stunden behalten.

9c. Meldungen und Moderation

Damit StoryShort.ai sicher bleibt, verarbeiten wir Meldungen und Moderationsdaten:

• Wenn du einen Inhalt meldest, speichern wir den Link, den Grund, deine Angaben, deine E-Mail-Adresse und eine gehashte Form deiner IP-Adresse. Wir nutzen sie, um die Meldung zu prüfen, dir zu antworten und Spam zu stoppen.
• Wenn du eine Meldung zu Urheberrecht oder Marke sendest, können wir sie an die Person weitergeben, die den Inhalt veröffentlicht hat. Wenn diese eine Gegendarstellung sendet, können wir sie an dich weitergeben.
• Wir prüfen Prompts, hochgeladene Bilder und generierte Bilder auf verbotene Inhalte. Dafür nutzen wir automatische Moderationstools und die Sicherheitsfilter unserer KI-Anbieter. Diese Inhalte können dafür an sie gesendet werden.
• Wir speichern blockierte Anfragen, Meldungen und Moderationsentscheidungen zusammen mit dem betroffenen Konto. Wir nutzen sie, um unsere Nutzungsbedingungen durchzusetzen, Einsprüche zu bearbeiten und wiederholten Missbrauch zu stoppen.
